Aaron Lee Tasjan Virginia Beach Concert reviews
<3 Tool
Aaron Lee Tasjan did a great job! It is unfortunate that Maynard was injured, but he still did an amazing job, as did the rest of the band. The light show was amazing as always.
I'll keep this short and to the point. Linkin Park was good, but there wasn't as much of a "punch" to their sound as I've heard before. And there was that point where the sound went out and the band kept going through the motions. Probably because the monitors were still working on stage, but the crowd was just not having it and screaming "refund, refund." Also, the Chester mini-band intersession was...odd. I think a lot of attendees believed that Linkin Park was done and started walking around, getting food, or going to the bathroom. Then Linkin Park was back on all of a sudden...eh? This whole experience was just poorly executed at times, I think.
Alice in Chains was awesome, sounded just like they used to back in the day. Can't wait to see them again! Preferably when it's not so light out and when they can get a later time slot.
As for the whole event, I think the vendors were pretty good, the event merchandise was lacking in quality and over-priced. Should I be surprised? It wasn't terribly crowded or obnoxious. I would attend again insomuch that there were good bands, at a good venue, and no technical difficulties.
Cheers!
